i have a blue a gold macaw and the cage he came in is gross and to small but it would work for an amazon the same lady is giving me cause his cage i too small but this one will be perfect i am going to sand the crap out of it and it needs to be repainted so what is a safe spray paintSafe spray paint for a bird cage?
Read the labels carefully. It should be acrylic and clearly labeled NON TOXIC.
Any of the hookbills are notorious for chewing anything in in reach. Black would be the best choice of color as it's not an optical barrier like white or other light colors.
