Spray paint on a fitted cap/ hat?

i want to do a stencil on a fitted hat ( 80% Acrylic %20 Wool) baseball flat rim style hat. What kind of spray paint will stay on the hat. And also, i need a paint that if sprayed where the stencil shows, it wont continue to soak thru to other areas outside the stencil as to mess up the design.Spray paint on a fitted cap/ hat?
i think regular spray paint will stay but ask around in Michael's or Joann's to see if they have anything better (try higher quality art stores)


also tape around the stencil so it stays in place/ paint won't get everywhere else (you could also cover the rest of the hat w/ a paper towel etc.)Spray paint on a fitted cap/ hat?
Get fabric paint from a crafts store like Michaels.
