Technically you should avoid harsh chemicals in the water that otherwise don't belong however if the object/decoration was purchased AS an item that goes in a fish-tank then you should be ok. If you still feel uncomfortable then don't do it. It is better to not take the chance of harming or killing your fish friends.
No, I wouldn't. The paint will slowly come off in the water and this will be toxic to your fishies! Just buy something at a pet store if you need fun fish things..they can be pretty inexpensive!

NO! the chemical and amonia from the paint can and ill hurt and even kill your fish.
You can buy a paint called Krylon Fusion. Its supposed to be safe when fully dried. Ive read about alof of people using it in their tanks without issues. Google it.

I would try to use a good pressure washer. Im sure they didnt sand your van before spraying it so the paint may jst blow right off with the pressure. You can also try the alcohol that may work. If that doesnt work, a little gas on a rag will surely take it off. It shouldnt hurt the original paint on your van either. I just recently had to do this and I will tell you the best way to get spray paint off a car is use nail polish remover (actetone) kind and WD40 spray. I woke up this morning to go to church and someone sprayed mine. I wish you luck.

Buffing compound, but do it by hand, if you dont know how to use a buffer, using a buffer without knowledge will burn paint, also, if they used a cheap paint, sometimes a thinner will remove without damaging old paint , but try in a small spot first

use carb cleaner or brake cleaner. I used it to get graffiti of my garage door. Trust me, it works.
Lacquer thinners will take it off. You'll need to wax the paint after too.
Depending on the colour, it might be best to paint over it. But that will probably mean paying for an entire panel to be re-done. Another alternative would be to find out who did it, and use their scalp as a brush.
You might try some good quality hand cleaner if the paint hasn't been on very long.

theres a technique in body work called wet sanding. itll work for your car only if you have clear coat over the original paint scheme. since someone painted over the clear coat (if its there) then you can remove the paint over it eaily, since its not bonded to anything. get really fine grit paper, say 1000 grit, and get a hose and sanding block. start pouring water over the area, and sand slowly carefully, and always keep it wet, pour water continuously over it. if you have no clearcoat on your car, you can wet sand down to the primer and you can touch spray over. if youre going to do this, be really careful. it takes years to get good at body work, but a decent job can be done with good effort.
A good paintman should be able to buff it out. Call around to detail shops. Or, if you know someone with a highspeed buffer, THAT KNOWS HOW, let them do it. Really shouldn't be too tough.
Goof-Off on a rag would do it. Go to a hardware store and look in the paint section, if the spray paint is not that old, and your cars paint in good shape, it should come off, but wax it RIGHT after doing it. And dont let the Goof-Off be on there very long

you need some light rubbing compound, like G3 then just gently use it on the area thats got the paint on it will cut in to the paint and remove it, then use some polish on the whle panel and it will be fine

Poster paper or any paper that is not too thin will work. If you spray paint outside, not while the paper is on the wall, you could spray paint normal paper. Do not do it while it's on the wall or it could bleed through.

Spray paint not drying?

So I painted a pair of rubberized binos with regular spray paint, couldnt find the right color anywhere.


And I really havent looked into specialized spray paint for rubber items.





Its been 3 days it its still sticky, my question is does anyone have experience with this....will it ever dry, can I speed up the process and is there some sort of enamel spray paint that will protect this coat and not dissolve it.Spray paint not drying?
Ooooooh dear - the enamel component of the paint you sprayed has melted the rubber. I've seen spray paints especially for ';plastic'; articles, but never rubber. I fear that your paint will never dry, and you might have to just try to blot off the wet paint.Spray paint not drying?
Dusty might be right. If the enamel has attacked the rubber your sol. I've had lacquers not dry when old. Out of desperation, I've bought the same product and top coated with success. Either the drying agents in the old stuff are dead, or didn't get mixed up, I don't know, but the new stuff sets it up.
I doubt that the paint will ever adhere to the rubber. Not much will adhere to rubber. You probably want to remove what's left of the paint with a solvent but be careful you don't damage the rubber.
instead of trying to cover in one coat use several light coats. but before you paint you must get the surface ready. try cleaning with with acetone.it prepares the surface by cleaning and making surface ready to adhere to. dont over do the acetone cleaning.the spraying should be several light coats about 6 to 8 inches away and in spurts not continous spray.

Do not bother doing this. What kind of car is it, anyway??? Make, model, year, mileage, country of origin??? To do a paint job correctly is very expensive! It involves removing windows, bumpers, etc. Later model cars have the paint vurtually electrplated to the car's metal. You cannot duplicate this process. Then, it is baked on as well. If you are determined to have this done, make sure they are using a premium paint system, not like they use at the cheaper auto paint shops. THis is even a bigger waste of $$$$. Some shops will bake the new paint at a moderate temperature in order to speed the drying process.It isn't necessary but it is helpful at times so it really doesn't matter one way or the other.

Yes and no its kind hard to tell, the problem with most spray paints is they are made of very strong chemicals that can actually melt the plastic a bit and make it very hard to dry,





If you want to spray paint it ur best best is to go the store and find a spray paint that is made for plastic that way it will stick better and not come off on ur hands, but even with plastic ready spray paint u may still feel a sticky texture to it, my best solution for that would to but a coat of polyurethane on it, ( that could also cause the plastic to melt so be careful





The spray paint very well could effect the firring and reloading, the best bet is to tape off the cracks of the part that reloads to keep its from going in the parts, and tape the tip of the gun off then once the gun is dry go through were you taped off and color it in with a permanent maker that why the gun firring and reloading part would be free of paint,





Last of all spray paint is touch dry in about an hour or 2 but for it to be fully dry i would leave it in warm dry place for about 2 days to be safe.

A friend of mine (top professional) sprays interior walls. He says it is not quicker because you have to mask everything up. Also, it takes awhile to learn how to get the pressure just right on the equipment.

I never spray paint interior walls, ever. It gets paint all over the ceiling, you have to seal the floor and furniture in dropcloths, and you have to wear breathing protection and eye protection and cover yourself completely from head to toe (while it's warm enough to paint - boiling hot is how it feels). Then you have to use specific paints to suit the sprayer which may not have the qualities you want in a paint. It's often cheaper to roll on a top-grade paint that looks rich and lasts ten to fifteen years than to spray on a cheap paint with chalky colour that looks old and dingy in three years.





And yes, it's marginally quicker to paint with a sprayer, but I find that 75% of the job is in prep - cleaning and repairing the walls, taping the trim, and cutting in: the actual painting takes less than an hour of actual work per room. Why worry about making that tiny part of the job faster, especially given there are so many disadvantages to spraying?





Exterior walls have some of the same concerns. Where I live, cheap paint doesn't last more than one year, and most sprayers are only guaranteed to work if you use the company's regular brand (usually cheapish at least). And although you don't have to worry as much about obsessively protecting every inch of the floor from spray, you do have to protect things like flowerbeds and stone foundations.

Any good hardware store really, make sure you spend a bit on the paint though and be careful when spraying, you need to be a certain temperature to stop the paint running. Cheap paint will just chip and scratch really easily so be careful about what you chose...

Go to an auto parts store. They have good automotive paint in many different colors that are really thick and tough. Spray it in thin coats and let them each dry for a couple hours before reapplying.

Any aerosol can of paint will work. You can get some paint thinner and a rag to wipe off the stencil.

And if you want to be enviromentally friendly, you houldnt use spray paint because it ruins the o-zone layer, get regular floor paint instead, and write it with a brush. Dependin on where you live and the law for that state anything can happen. ( not too bad though) I would think the most he would get would be a warniing, a day in juvy (mistemeanor) or maybe community service. spray painting is vandalism so it really depends on your state laws and how strict the law is on the crime. Best thing you could do to get the best info would call your local police dept. they would be the best ones to ask.

usually between 60 and 80 F any colder and the paint will start to not dry correctly ... not sure about warmer but I do know that when you paint metal that is too hot from things like welding it will actually boil the paint.

Yes you can paint grip tape, and yes, it decreases its effectiveness.
They have a paint that when apllied is the same texture as grip tape. might want to give this a shot. I think that yes you can use the regular spray paint, but as far as longetivity is concerned, it will wear off in a short while.
it depends on the layers or thickness of paint on the grip tape.. a simple wave of paint would be good


and it also depends on the grip tape you have

I am in the process of doing just that with a road bike. I disassembled what I could and had a bike shop do the rest, mainly the crank and bottom bracket. I then took the frame/fork to a shop that specializes in 'powder coating.' That's what you want, as the finish is the same or better than original, and the cost no higher, or even less than an auto body shop. The body shop wanted $100, the powder coat shop $60. The powder coat shop even including stripping the original paint off the bike. I think they sand blast it.

If you're kidding, that is actually pretty clever. But I like anteaters, so I'm gonna answer your question.





Put the aresol cans someplace she can't reach them, or in a locked tool-box. Buy a harness (the kind that goes over the whole torso comfortably--they make them for ferrets, but a medium-sized dog harness would probably fit an anteater) and keep her by your side when you can. (A regular leash and collar won't work because a regular collar would go right over the narrow head of an anteater.)

Where can I find a DIY sign making kit for spray painting lettered signs?

Years ago I remember seeing a sign making kit that came with solid re-usable letters that you lay out on top of your sign, and then simply spray paint the entire sign leaving the unpainted part under the letters as the actual color of the letters on the sign. You could use the letters over and over again. They were letters not stencils. Say you wanted a white exit sign with red letters. You spray the entire sign in red, allow to dry and place the exit letters in place and paint the entire sign white, this leaves the red unpainted exit underneath. what i usually do for customers is sand the tail light with 1000 grit paper and then spray them with a clearcoat with a little black mixed in it. the more coats, the darker it gets.

Do not spray paint on a gun you like unless you practice on several you don't like or use. You are better off getting a product called McNett's Camo Form. It's a camo tape that sticks to itself only and contains no adhesive. It's strong, durable and remains on the gun protecting it through all kinds of weather.

Searching the Web, I see listings for ';organic dyes'; and ';organic paints';. This suggests that you can find commercial products to do the job.


If you want to make the coloring agent yourself, there are articles to make your own paint- sounds messy to me!


When you check the commercial products out, you'll have to know what the object is made of. Is it metal, fabric, wood, or some kind of plastic? What kinds of plastic, metal, etc.? If it is a commercial product, a recycling logo would tell you what kind of plastic it is.

Try going to a craft store. They tend to have many types of spray paint. If you cannot find what you want, you can mix the colors. Test layering them on a separate surface.





Krylon usually has many color choices, but it is sort of expensive. Rustoleum is cheaper. There is another one (forgot the name) that I have seen for $3.25, but I do not think it has your color.

No, you cannot legally shoot him. There are some really cool things like sling shots and wrist rockets that you could use. You could also put booby traps next to your fence. Amazing to say the least! These artists utilize texture materials at hand and experiment like mad to see what effect different textured materials produce. Their strokes are strong and sure. Again, very cool stuff. I didn't see a respirator on the guys face. Halfway through a painting he's probably high as a kite and somewhere in space himself :)


Very impressive and the prices are reasonable too.


He's gonna be or already is a wealthy resident of Mexico.


I'd guess with his use of found materials to help him create his art, he surely didn't start out wealthy or come from a wealthy background but by his sharing his techniques with the world he's certainly headed in the right direction!

i want to repair my hubcaps since they are the ones that came with the car when i bought it with my 2004 toyota camry but um not shore what to buy can any body help me,so i dont have to go out and buy new onesSpray paint hubvaps?

I wouldn't really spray paint hubcups it there chrome.


I'm not sure if your talking about hubcups or wheelcovers. A lot of people mix them up, even I do.





This is for wheelcovers:


First you sand the surface of the wheelcovers very lightly, then spray on a couple of coats of primer(you sand it so the primer will stay on better), then you spray on few coat of the colour you want after the primer drys.


You can do the same thing for hubcaps, but there no way you can much it, if there chrome. Unless you get it re-Chrome plated.





If you are gonna use fake chrome paint(which is really just a shiny silver), it will last about week. Then it will turn a dull silver.

hi there, get sum 400 sandpaper and water. start sanding. tape the chrome up so you don't scratch it. make it smooth . then prime it and sand it one more time. get a tack rage and wipe it off then paint it.good luck.Spray paint car?

Depending on level of exposure, it can make you feel dizzy, nauseous, cause brain damage or even kill you in large quantities.
Go out and buy a good respirator with the right cartridges
One thing is certain, if you are using any of those as inhalants, you can experience permanent brain damage, have an aneurysm or a heart attack and the risk increases with each exposure. Intentionally inhaling those chemicals is just plain dangerous and extremely stupid. If however you are actually painting a surface in a well ventilated area, the risk is much less hazardous.

Spray paint on acrylic?

i prepared a canvas with acrylic no.1 and AVC, or sth like that, (1/2 of AVC than the acrylic) on a regular fabric. i was gonna make a stencil with spray paint on the canvas but don't know if it'll hold, how many layers of spray paint should i lay down or what kind of spray paint should i use.Spray paint on acrylic?
If you go to a store that sells car spray paint, that should be acrylic, it'll say on the can somewhere, but I've never bough car paint that isn't.


Because it's acrylic It'll hold fine, you'll have to use your judgement on how much, but spray light coats and err towards a lighter coat.





Something that really helps with stencils is; spray the side that goes against the canvas with a spray glue called spray mount. This is only lightly sticky but will stop spray paint going under the stencil and stop the stencil moving whilst you spray, you'll get a great clean finish

You will need to get white fabric paint. It is available at craft stores (Joann's, Michael's) even some stores (Fred Meyer, Walmart) could carry it. The paint is liquid and will need to be put on with a brush, or if you have a template you could use a stencil brush.

Hello, I just bought a some primer, top coat in gloss, and a clear coat enamel, all of which are in a spray paint can.

Your question seems to imply that the reason you bought the clear coat is to ADD finishing gloss - [?]. First tho, clear coat usually comes in sheen choices [satin, semi-gloss, gloss]. Is yours gloss? If you want eXtra shine, pLus protection, then go ahead and use the clear coat [as long as it's not rated satin or semi-g].





Is yours an indoor or outdoor project? If your item will be out in the direct sunlight, keep in mind that spray enamel will fade. Look at the can of clear coat and see if it offers UV protection. If yes, then the clear coat will be worth using.

Its safe, people do it all the time to their t-shirts and jeans. If you don't feel comfortable using actually spray paint you can use tye dyeing colors and use a spray bottle.

We recently did this for a mirror donated for decoration in the Youth Group's coffee house at church. Using masking tape, blue painter's tape or an easily removable tape, cover all the glass of the mirror. If there are large areas of glass, place old newspaper or the like over the glass and tape the edges to the glass, as close to the edge as you can. After all the glass is covered, spray paint the areas you desire. Allow the paint to dry well, probably at least 24 hours. Check the paint instructions to know for sure. Before removing the paper and tape, check to see if you want to paint the frame again with a second coat. When removing the tape, be careful not to pull paint on the tape off the mirror edge. If you think it will help, run a very sharp knife blade around the edge of the tape before removing it. Should you get any paint on the mirror glass, use a straight razor blade to scrape it off. I hope this helps and good luck with your project.
I would tape the mirror off with paper news paper or something ,tapes hard to get off the glass,go to HGTV. com they have all kinds of neat stuff on there and some video clips on how too .......Good Luck

Thinning latex paint helps the spray gun provide a better spray pattern. Generally manufactures of paint recommend thinning by no more than 25%. 1 cup of water to 1 quart of paint. Hopefully, you still have the instruction manual. It should have a viscosity cup that you use to measure the thickness of the paint that will work with the gun. You pour the paint into the cup and ';time'; it for proper thickness/thinness.

it all depends on what type of paint and what you are going to paint, and how thick the paint is to begin with. anyways, put the paint in a jar or can for mixing purposes, add water to latex, paint thinner to oil base paint, and with a mixing stick, mix it till the paint runs off the stick at a nice rate...it really is trial an error process, UNLESS it is on the paint car how much to think it out...don't make it too thin or it will run...good luck PS, you can always add more thinning agent, but you can take it out, you would have to add more pain
Try straining the paint instead of thinning it. That will usually work. Mixing with water is not the best way to go unless you thin the entire container. It's very hard to get the exact shade the next time you need to use the same color.

Sounds like it's a top-coat.

You would be able to do that, but not the other way around. You can put oil over spray paint, but you cannot put spray paint over oil.Oil paint over spray paint?
i have painted over other glossy surfaces but not spray -however i don't think it should be different then surfaces i have used.





there is no problem , you can paint oil over almost anything , it will dry, though it may take a bit longer.


the affect is sometimes different though - suggest using very little amounts of thinner or none at all . some times i found it harder to remove the brushes strokes - they will be shown more clear - to avoid this affect use soft brushes or rags instead of brushes. also found not used turpentine to help.


though the different affect might be what your looking for - if so - have fun with it.

Spray painting is the fastest, however, all your windows need to be protected with paper and tapped bebore painting. The best job is done with brusinging and rolling the paint on, however, it is a time consuming project.
I'm a brush fan. I find that spray jobs can put too thin of a coat on. Brushing is a pain in the *** and very tedious but the end result looks better and lasts longer...especially on trim areas.

You don't state the type of paint, it's condition, or recommendations for application.You also don't state the type and strength of your spray equipment.





I've rented high volume, quality sprayers, airless and otherwise that are easily able to pump out latex or oil based paints.





From the maunfacturer the consistency of the paint when new or well sealed is already approprite for spraying, even Wagner equipment, which I refuse to use any longer, can do the job on occassion.





Perhaps the question is more, What is the condition of the sprayer///espec. nozzle etc, and what is the condition of the paint? Do you know? Do you suppose that the paint needs straining? Or that something in the equipment, IE, nozzles, fittings, etc. are fouling due to damage?

You can use paint thinner. It's pretty easy to use and dilute. Your spray gun should come with directions for doing it. If not, ask at the hardware store.
you can thin latex paint with water. You may also have to clean the nozzle more thoroughly. The sprayer's manual should offer some guidance. Some textured paints require a special nozzle.
When using a spray gun it is always best to strain any paint even if it is new. Most paint stores sell strainers. you can also strain through cloth or fine mesh screen wire.


The thickness of your paint should not clog your gun but it will disrupt the spray pattern and if it is too thick it may not spray at all IE: just drip from the gun. Follow the instructions on the can for thinning or try thinning to the consistency of whole milk. I hope this helps.
It could have a lot to do with your air pressure. Not having enough air pressure would do it.
Get a bucket with paint thinner and after every spray or when you take a break set your tip down into the bucket. You can also try a product called flotrol which really just thins out the paint. I find it work better than just paint thinner itself.

If its latex paint and new never water it down .Instead flush the sprayer with hot water, clean filters, reinstall filters(very important) and try again.If that doesnt work and the pressure is turned up all the way ,than u probably have the wrong size spray tip for the application try something bigger

Use proper shoe dye. You can purcahse it at a shoe repair shop. Spray paint will crack and peel where your shoes crease when you walk.

Gasoline won't bother it if you let it fully dry. I'd buy a clear coat sealer spray if you're really worried about it.
Gasoline will hurt spray paint. You should use a paint with a catalyst. The catalyst will harden the paint and make it much more resistant to gasoline. Unfortunately you probably won't find catalyzed paint in a spray can because once paint is catalyzed it must be used in 2-4 hours. You need to use a paint gun.

I recently customized the entire of my car. I wanted to have my eminence speakers match the color of it. Would it matter if i spray painted the speaker? not the entire thing obviously(like not the magnet or the inside of the cone or nothing like that) just the just the part of the speaker u can see when u mount it. It would weigh down the subwoofer's cone, and of which can change the way the sub sounds. Also realize subwoofers heat up, so that paint could act like a bit of insulation, not allowing it to cool properly.





Now if you are talking about painting the motor assembly, (the spiders/spokes etc....) you definitely can do that. I cant find the link...but I have had a friend that has done some painting to the spiders on a subwoofer and it looks AMAZING!





Just have to be careful because you dont want to get the paint into spots that could damage the subwoofers.

But you can have it re-glazed, or re-faced depending on the type of bath tub you have. Leave it to a professional, so you do not end up with a bigger, more expensive mess than just calling them in, in the first place.Can you spray paint a bath tub?
Please look up bathtub refinishers in your area. The kits that you can buy can possibly make your units worst, and in the end costing you much more than what you would have spent calling a Refinishing company.





A couple of facts to remember:


If you don't have a prep, clean surface than your surface is going to peel.


Porcelain tubs have to be etched. No primers are going to do it completely.


Tub liners cost a lot more to install, but they have there problems. They use a thick glue that tends to over time have low spots, should water get in you will have a mushy mess under your toes. When the seals around the drain goes then the water comes into the liner causing possible rust, mold, etc.





To get you tub refinished you are looking at about 275-475 the process should take about 2-3 hours (depends on condition) It is worth having a longer warranty and piece of mind that it will be done correctly.


Many guarantee the work for three years. The tub maker normal warranty is 1 year. Look up your BBB and look under tub refinishing. In most cases your tub will be ready in 24 hours.





Ask your self. Would I clean my new car with that?


As a rule of thumb, you only want to use cleaners marked with the approval for acrylic use on your newly refinished surface. Any cleaner used with bleach will yellow and will damage the new or refinished product.

Use fabric paints instead of paint, iron them so they are colourfast. The dyes are by Tulip, Dylon etc.

i am not experienced but they do have a spray-on fabric paint. try a local craft and hobby store. michaels or hobby lobby would be two that i know of.

I don't know if it comes in spray. But go to a specialty paint store, they know what you can get and what you can use it on.

Masking spray paint art

i want to create something like this because i think the layering with masking paper, wax paper, and spary paint is really neat yet i don't understand the concept of where the wax paper comes into play?

It is really easy but it is like playing the piano... practice practice practice. The video doesn't explain the masking very well. He buys the masking paper and tape to use over the areas where he doesn't have the masking FILM. The masking film is expensive tacky clear plastic that comes on a roll that you stick down and then cut out your images by color and remove that section and then paint. The film is tacky so it stays down and protects the areas that you don't want to get painted. Think of it as a sticky stencil that you cut yourself. I use clear contact shelf paper from Walmart because it is a lot cheaper. That is why he is buying 1/4 inch masonite wood to paint on instead of canvas so he can cut out his images and not cut through the canvas. If you go to your local art store and find the airbrush dept. you will find the masking film and stencils and all kinds of things you can use for spray paint art. Lets just say you are doing a mickey mouse for simplicity. You get the masonite board and spray it with primer and let dry. Then cover it with the masking film. Trace the image onto the masking film with transfer paper. Then cut out all of the areas that will be black and take the film off of those areas. You may need the blue tape and masking paper to put around the edges of the masonite so your over spray won't get everywhere. If you take the film off carefully you can put it back over those areas to protect them later. Spray black and let dry. Now either pull off all of the masking film and put on a whole new sheet or carefully put back the pieces that you previously cut out and then cut out all of the areas that are to be sprayed white. Does that make sense? Look up videos on You Tube for airbrush art and spray paint art. Just keep in mind that the airbrush gives you a lot of detail without masking. With the spray paint you need to do a lot more masking. You can do as many layers and as much detail as your imagination can come up with. Have fun!!!

Spray Paint In SPray Gun?

Ok I work at a autobody shop and of course with mix our paints from powder, however i have heard of people tipping a spray can over pressing it down and releasing the pressure, and then cuttin can open and putting it in a spray gun we use Gravity Feed HVLP Spray guns. So what I am wondeirng is wont this gum up the gun parts, or if you clean the gun therouly after use with thinner would this work?Spray Paint In SPray Gun?
I would not put that crap in my expensive guns.

No it will not effect your surfboard or skimboard, i know alot of people that do that to make there board different. If your that worried about it, then dont do it. But it seroiusly will not hurt a thing.Does spray paint melt/damage materal such as fiberglass (skimboards/surfboards)?
Spray paint might not stick to it, but there should be no damage...
if you use wax, be sure to remove it (usually acetone will do it, but there is some odd wax out there... so I don't know), otherwise the paint won't adhere. lightly sand the surface before you spray to give the paint something to hold on to.


if there is non-skid (like sand in the present paint) your board may be slicker after you paint over it.


check out your local boating supply store for marine paint. regular hardware store paint will probably work, but I would be more confident with a product designed for water and fiberglass applications. as a bonus, the guys at the store may be able to give you some pointers.


by the way, whatever you use will probably scratch easier than what came from the factory...
It should be fine, the only thing that is detrimental to a skimboard's performance is when there are dings that have pierced the fibreglass. That's when you need to get it repaired. Just spraypainting won't cause this, so you should be ok!!





Sorry, a ding is a scratch on the bottom of the board from stones/shells. The foam core of the board is essential to it's structure and water will cause this to degrade. The fibreglass coating protects the foam and gives the board strength - some dings are deeper than others and pierce the fibreglass - that's the type you need to get repaired!

There are some spray paints that are special to be used by heat. For radiators for example. I don't know about fire resistant though. I have seen the heat resistant at places like Canadian Tire and I'm sure home depot.Is spray paint flammable?

usually your index and thumb fingernails make good grippers, you need to grab underneath the ';rim'; of the bottom of the tip. Pull away from the can while gripping the tip.





if that doesn't work carefully remove with a pair of needle nose pliers or another similar tool...grabbed with a paper towel or napkin.





just be careful and point the tip away from you just in case.
