Spray paint nerf gun?

I might spray paint my nerf recon cs-6 gun black, so it will go well at night, but i was wondering if spray painting it will affect anything at all.


Would it?


Shooting?


Reload?


Will it come off onto my hands even after it is dry?

Yes and no its kind hard to tell, the problem with most spray paints is they are made of very strong chemicals that can actually melt the plastic a bit and make it very hard to dry,





If you want to spray paint it ur best best is to go the store and find a spray paint that is made for plastic that way it will stick better and not come off on ur hands, but even with plastic ready spray paint u may still feel a sticky texture to it, my best solution for that would to but a coat of polyurethane on it, ( that could also cause the plastic to melt so be careful





The spray paint very well could effect the firring and reloading, the best bet is to tape off the cracks of the part that reloads to keep its from going in the parts, and tape the tip of the gun off then once the gun is dry go through were you taped off and color it in with a permanent maker that why the gun firring and reloading part would be free of paint,





Last of all spray paint is touch dry in about an hour or 2 but for it to be fully dry i would leave it in warm dry place for about 2 days to be safe.

not it will not effect anything but be careful with getting it inside the trigger cuz ut my=ight not move as easy if you get it in side
