What's a good material for spray painting on?

I live in a dorm and I can spray paint the walls, so I'm assuming paper would be too thin, would poster paper work, anything else? What's a good material for spray painting on?
Poster paper or any paper that is not too thin will work. If you spray paint outside, not while the paper is on the wall, you could spray paint normal paper. Do not do it while it's on the wall or it could bleed through.

Also, your local art supply store should carry big rolls of canvas that you can purchase by the yard so you could cover an entire wall, just tack it down and be careful at the edges. What's a good material for spray painting on?
anything that won't get soggy when wet.

yo can go with watercolor paper, bristol paper, poster board, illustration board, or just anything thick enough.

You can also use plain cardboard, but you might want to gesso it first to get a good result.
cars are good
