usually your index and thumb fingernails make good grippers, you need to grab underneath the ';rim'; of the bottom of the tip. Pull away from the can while gripping the tip.
if that doesn't work carefully remove with a pair of needle nose pliers or another similar tool...grabbed with a paper towel or napkin.
just be careful and point the tip away from you just in case.
