Clothing dillemma... does spray paint come off clothes?

im having a little halloween problem


i have a costume that i needed to dye black


i bought the fabric dye


but it did not work at all on some parts of the costume i.e. the poofy part and ribbon parts





i was wondering if it were possible to spray paint it black???


also would it stay stiff because its what i heard


could i maybe spray paint it then hand wash it would it stay??

its possible, and it will be stiff, and it will not come out. so after its totally dry you could try washing and drying it .....
