Okay, this might be a stupid question, but how do you properly 'empty the valve' of excess gas? I know you turn the can upside down and spray, but I don't know for how long, or how I know when it's empty or whatever. Thanks.Maybe a dumb question about spray paint...?
the only dumb question is an unasked question!Maybe a dumb question about spray paint...?
First, you'll see some paint coming out but when it's completely empty you won't see anything just 'll hear the gas coming out. The valve will be clean by then
The valve will be clean when it stops spraying color. You can also hear the difference when it empties. It usually only takes a few seconds.
Turn can upside down and spray until the spray becomes colorless. Thats how you clear the nozzle of paint. If you want all the gas cleared, keep spraying until nothing comes out then throw the can away.
