Can I spray paint shoes?

I want to buy a pair of boots to use for Carnival and I don't want to buy a new and different co lour every year. Can I just buy a pair I like and spray paint it to the co lour of my costume?





What material would take the paint better? I was told leather or canvas. Suede wouldn't work?





And what original color I should buy in the boot so that the painted color shows better and is easier to apply? Black or beige?Can I spray paint shoes?

but i wouldnt spray paint it a new color more than twice


if you keep spray painting them they would get ruined


buy a canvas material shoe


and do NOT buy black ones


it would be way to hard to paint

beige canvas try something like converse. try white converse those work really well u can get fabric paint (for t shirts) that works really nicely if your wanting a little more detail. o and if you want u can buy black but you would most likely want to try white spray paint and then whatever color your wanting
